BPC-157 is a small, lab-made peptide — a short chain of 15 amino acids — based on a naturally protective protein found in the human stomach. It has become one of the most talked-about and most-studied compounds in the research world, especially in work looking at how the body repairs itself.

Researchers are drawn to it because it appears unusually stable and shows activity across many different tissue types in laboratory and animal studies. It is often studied side by side with TB-500.
