Bioglutide (NA-931)
A name used for NA-931, an investigational oral drug described by its developer as an IGF-1, GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptor agonist, studied in weight-loss (obesity) research.
At a glance
Bioglutide is a name used for NA-931, an investigational oral drug from Biomed Industries described as a quadruple agonist of the IGF-1, GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors. Results so far come from company-presented conference abstracts. Its chemical structure is not given in these sources, so no laboratory can verify material sold under the name — which is why we do not sell it.
What it’s studied for
Four-receptor design
Described as activating IGF-1, GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors — one more than triple agonists such as retatrutide. 2
Developer descriptionOral route
Developed as an oral drug, unlike injectable semaglutide and tirzepatide. 2
Human · phase 1Weight reduction
Dose-dependent weight reductions reported in phase 1; a 13-week phase 2 study is registered. 2,3,4
Human · abstractsMuscle preservation
An ADA 2025 abstract reports weight reduction without muscle loss. 1

How it works
NA-931 is being developed by Biomed Industries, Inc. as an oral treatment for obesity and type 2 diabetes. The company describes it as activating four receptors — IGF-1, GLP-1, GIP and glucagon. 2
In the published phase 1 abstract, a 28-day multiple-ascending-dose study reported dose-dependent weight reductions, continued into an open-label extension to 12 weeks, with treatment-emergent adverse events rated insignificant or mild. 2 A 13-week, randomized, placebo-controlled phase 2 study is registered as NCT06564753 and was presented at ENDO 2025, 3,4 and an ADA 2025 abstract reported weight reduction without muscle loss. 1
All of this is company-presented conference data; we found no full peer-reviewed paper. The molecular formula and structure are not given in these sources and we found no published CAS number, so there is no reference standard a third-party laboratory could test against. That breaks the batch-matched COA promise every product here rests on, so we do not sell it — and material sold elsewhere under this name cannot be checked against the compound in the trials.
